The First Measure way

First Measure was created because we believed the values that shaped our family deserved to shape our work. The roots of our company come directly from our family roots.

Troy comes from generations of craftsmen. His godfather is a carpenter. His uncles are carpenters. Through generations of honest labor, perseverance, and pride in their work, those values became the foundation of the company we continue to build today.

Over the past two decades, Troy has built on that foundation through union carpentry, green building, residential construction, project management, and custom remodeling. Every stage of his career has strengthened the same commitment to quality workmanship, honest communication, and doing the job right the first time.

Troy is personally involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. We don't subcontract our work, and every detail is handled and approved directly by us. When you work with First Measure, you know exactly who's in your home and who's standing behind the finished work.
